Privacy notice
AETHER is designed around local audio files and local playback. This notice covers the public website and beta distribution; it must be reviewed before launch when the final hosting, analytics and support providers are known.
Website data
This static website does not set first-party analytics cookies in its current form. The hosting provider may process standard connection logs such as IP address, browser type and request time for security and delivery.
Payments
Voluntary support payments are processed by Stripe through an external Payment Link. Stripe receives and processes payment and billing information under its own terms. AETHER must not store card numbers or secret payment credentials in this website.
Beta diagnostics
The beta should request permission before sending diagnostics. Locally generated integrity and support reports may contain device names, drivers, file metadata and configuration details. Users should review a report before sharing it.
Audio library
Local library data, playlists, artwork caches, gear profiles and mappings are expected to remain on the user’s device unless the user explicitly exports or shares them.
